Harmony Type — The geometric relationship between colors on the wheel: complementary, analogous, triadic, split-complementary, or tetradic.
Hue — The base color angle on the wheel (0-360 degrees). This is the starting point for all harmony calculations.
Saturation — How vivid or muted the colors are. Lower saturation produces pastels and earth tones; higher saturation gives bold, vibrant palettes.
Lightness — Controls brightness. Adjusting lightness can make the same hue feel completely different — dark navy vs. sky blue are the same hue at different lightness.
